About me
I live in Harstad, Northern Norway, where the landscape doesn't just provide a backdrop—it sets the pace for my life. Together with my wife, Kristin, and our two dogs, Procyon and Castor, I navigate the seasons between the fjords and the mountains of Altevatn.
While my professional life is dedicated to performance management in the energy industry, my photography is where I find clarity and presence. For me, the camera is a tool for a stoisk approach to life: To see, to gather, and to tell.
My journey took a pivotal turn in 2025 when I joined the Harstad Photo Club. This community ignited a deeper curiosity for photography as art—exploring minimalism, ICM, and contemporary expressions.
Currently, my focus is on documentary-style projects and my book idea, "On the Trail". This project is a visual and philosophical exploration of the path we walk—both outwards into the wild and inwards into ourselves.
Looking Ahead I photograph to remember, to breathe, and to inspire. My dream is a simple one: to continue this journey with intention—traveling across Scandinavia, spending quiet days at the cabin, and capturing the profound beauty of living simply.
